Three...

is our favorite number. We are kind of obsessed with it. It’s so cool because it’s a pattern in so many things: three wishes, third time’s a charm, 3 parts of an essay, the holy trinity…Tony had a rabbit business called 3J Rabbitry when we met. The trillium that’s abundant in woods in our area are my favorite flower. To have a collection of anything, you need three. (And Tony and I may or may not set our alarm clock so the time is divisible by three.)

Based on our experience, the third year is the magic year in the perennial gardening world. Year one- fragile survival. Year two- establish roots. Year three- bam! Abundance.

This is our third year of our business. We have toiled, created, and nurtured, As Emerson so wisely stated, “Adapt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.” We’ve been patiently dreaming and planning and expanding, and we have hopes for this to be the “magic,” abundant year.

Do you have a dream? Plant that seed, nurture it, and wait patiently.
